Welcome to my corner of the web! I’m Taurus Posey, a devoted husband of 19 years and a proud father of three amazing girls. As a seasoned IT professional with a comprehensive array of certifications across various domains:

With this extensive background, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table, allowing me to navigate complex IT landscapes and deliver innovative solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each project.

Education has played a significant role in shaping my career. I graduated from Western Governors University in Salt Lake City, UT, with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in January 2022. Prior to that, I earned my Associate of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, LA, in December 2010.

Outside of work, I’m an avid baseball fan and enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. As a true “techie” at heart, I’m constantly exploring the latest advancements in technology and embracing opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill set.

In addition to my academic achievements, family, career, and community involvement, I’m also a proud member of the Alpha Chi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., located on the campus of Wiley College. Initiated in the spring of 2004, I’ve had the honor of embracing the values of achievement and brotherhood upheld by our esteemed fraternity.

My dedication to both my fraternity and my community is evident in every aspect of my life. As a committed member of the Fifth Ward Enrichment Alumni Association, I contribute my time and skills to support educational initiatives and community development projects, furthering the organization’s mission of making a positive impact in our community.

In addition to my work in IT, I have a strong commitment to supporting nonprofits through technology. I’ve had the privilege of designing websites for three notable organizations: KEW Learning Academy, Kappa Alpha Psi Shreveport Alumni Chapter, and the National Pan-Hellenic Council Shreveport Council. These projects have allowed me to combine my technical skills with my passion for making a positive impact in my community.

Furthermore, I’m actively involved with the Fifth Ward Enrichment Alumni Association, where I contribute my time and skills to support educational initiatives and community development projects, furthering the organization’s mission of making a positive impact in our community.

In my professional life, I apply my skills to tackle technical problems, implement cutting-edge solutions, and optimize IT infrastructure for maximum efficiency and performance. Outside of work, I’m deeply involved in the nonprofit sector, using my IT expertise to support causes that matter most to me and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

I embrace the values of service, leadership, and brotherhood. Whether it’s through my professional endeavors, nonprofit work, or fraternity involvement, I’m dedicated to leaving a lasting impact and fostering positive change.

When I’m not busy with work, community involvement, or pursuing further certifications, I cherish the moments spent with my family, exploring new hobbies, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures.

Additionally, I am an active member of the Russell Road Church of Christ, under the leadership of Minister John H. Dansby and Vincent Gorden.
